For this series, I worked with color slides.

The session was really similar to the ones I did for Body to Body, but I decided to distort the original slide’s film in order to create a new texture on top of the picture itself.

This way trying to bring up the same kind of elements as in my paintings.

Like painting over film, again, I wanted to mix painting and photo to create a brand new medium.

The result, texture & color, comes from the work done entirely on the slide itself and not from any Photoshop postproduction.
